Omkar Divekar is a Mumbai based Cinematographer & Colorist since 2015. Two Feature Documentary Films - The Unreserved (2017) and Borderlands (2021) - have each won a National Award.

Coming from the small town of Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, Omkar graduated in Electrical Engineering from PVG's College of Engineering and Technology, Pune before heading to Mumbai for a Diploma in Film & TV Production from Xavier Institute of Communications.

After growing up in Ahmednagar, a small town in Maharashtra, I graduated in Electrical Engineering from Pune and completed a Film Production Diploma from Xavier's Institute of Communication, Mumbai in 2015. Since then, I've been working as a Cinematographer & Colorist on Feature Documentaries, Short Fiction, Digital Commercials, Web Shows, Music Videos, Corporate Films, etc.
